Victoria Secret will reportedly be closing several locations
after poor holiday sales
Victoria Secret is the world's largest underwear & lingerie retailer. The retailer has halted plans to remodel & will close 53 stores this year after disappointing holiday sales. The planned store closings in 2019 make up about 4% of the company's 1,143 stores worldwide.
Dollar Tree is About to Close Nearly 400 Family Dollar Stores
Many childhood favorites seems to be closing lately like Charlotte Russe, Payless Shoe Source, Claires Accessories & Toys R Us. Family Dollar is next in line as their parent company, Dollar Tree is scheduled to close more than 390 of their stores. In addition to this, they are going to rebrand another 200 stores under the Dollar Tree name.

Payless ShoeSource is Closing All 2,100 U.S. Stores
Liquidation Sale has begun!
The store confirmed on February 15th, 2019 that it will close its 2,100 stores in the U.S. Puerto Rico. A Liquidation sale started on Sunday February 17th. The company is also ending its e-commerce operations. The closing marks the biggest by a single chain this year.

Charlotte Russe Filed for Bankruptcy
Charlotte Russe has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and plans to close about 94 stores. The young women's clothing chain is the latest mall based retailer to file for bankruptcy and joins Claire Accessories. Poor sales due to competition and too much debt lead to this crisis.
